Overview
A 3 days safari is meant to introduce you to one of the seemingly infinite wilderness of Uganda and that’s not other than Murchison Fall National Park. This park is located northwest of Kampala- the capital city. This is Uganda’s largest Park; the wild and beautiful Murchison Falls National Park offers breathtaking scenery of palm-dotted hills, swamps, riverine woodland, and tropical rainforests, East Africa’s most dramatic waterfall, excellent boat cruises, the remarkable diversity of wildlife on land and in Victoria Nile, which teams with hippos and crocodiles. The park is home to large herds of leopards and several antelope species ranging from grey duiker, Uganda kobs, oribi and Jackson’s hartebeest, Giraffes, Lions, among other animals. Bird watching is outstanding, and the top highlight is the sighting of the endangered shoebill stork, a rare creature that sits at the top of many birders’ wish list, Africa jacana, Goliath Heron, the yellow-footed flycatcher, pied giant, and malachite kingfisher among the over 451 species. Another fascinating activity will be visiting the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary the only home for endangered Rhinoceros in Uganda for Rhino tracking.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 2022 Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park –Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Your safari will start at exactly 06:30 am after your heavy breakfast. You will be transferred to Murchison Falls National park, located in the northwest of Kampala. But along the way, you will visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary situated in Nakasongola district near Nakitoma village along Gulu – Kampala Highway. This sanctuary is home to wild endangered rhinos and it covers approximately 7,000ha. Here, you will have an opportunity to track rhinos on foot; and this is a great and exciting activity as it involves you watching them at a close and safer distance of about 6 to 7m with the guidance of a skilled ranger guide. After tracking you will have lunch there and then continue to Murchison Falls National Park, check-in your lodge, relax, dine and have an overnight stay.

Day 2 Morning game drives, afternoon Boat Cruise, and top of the falls hike.
At precisely 18:30 after having your early morning breakfast, you will be ready for a game drive to catch a glance of the early risers and nocturnal animals going back to their hideouts. Following Victoria Nile and Buligi tracks through open savannah grassland, you will appreciate the rich diversity of wildlife in the Park-embowered in various eco-systems. Wild games to encounter will include; elephants, buffaloes, Jackson's hartebeest, oribi, reedbuck, hyenas among others, and exclusive species like elusive shoebill stork, yellow fronted tinker birds, goliath heron, malachite, kingfisher, etc. After lunch, you will go for a. Retreat, dine and have an overnight stay.

Day 3 Morning transfer to Kampala via Buliisa- Rift valley drive
After your early morning breakfast at 06:30 am, you will be transferred back to Kampala following Masindi Kampala road. Have lunch en-route at Kabalega dinners.
