Transfer time by road; (Approx 45 Kms / 1 hr 20 mins)
The arrival of your flight into Entebbe International Airport. You will be warmly welcomed by our representative outside the customs and immigration hall. You will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in assistance and if time permits, tour briefing.
Dinner will follow and overnight stay.
Drive time; (Approx 311 Kms / 6 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Set off with your driver-guide to Murchison Falls National Park. En route to the park, you will walk with the Southern white rhinos at Ziiwa Rhino Sanctuary followed by hot lunch at Kabalega dinners.
Proceed with your drive to the northern bank of River Nile arriving in time for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Go for an early morning game drive on the Northern Bank of the Murchison Falls National Park. You may be able to view animals that are unique to the African Savannah like giraffe, elephant, antelope, lion, and the Uganda Kobo.
Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the lodge. Lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive time (Approx 441Km / 9hrs)
Breakfast at the lodge. Check out by 07h30 and depart for Kibale Forest National Park. Lunch will be en route or if possible depending on arrival time at fort portal. There will be a punctuation of stopovers in the far countryside that will offer us chances of stretching in villages and around tea plantations along the drive as we check in the late evening. Have dinner and a night in a beautiful area close to a crater lake bordering Kibale Forest.
Drive time: (Approx 157 Kms / 4 hrs)
A relatively early morning start, to report to the ranger station in Kibale National Park at 08h00 to track chimps – these delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees.
After lunch, you will set off for Queen Elizabeth National park with game drive en route. (4 hours drive)
Arrive and check-in at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile allows visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds.
Return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the lodge in the mid-morning, followed by lunch.
This afternoon, a two-hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo and crocodiles. The Kazinga Channel supports the biggest number of Hippos in the whole of Africa. Predators as well as nocturnal animals normally come to the shores in the late afternoons for a drink. In addition, a large number of antelopes like the Waterbuck as well as the Uganda Kob also come here to quench their thirst.
This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Return to the lodge in the evening,
Dinner and overnight.
Drive time; (Approx 97 Kms / 3hrs)
After Breakfast, Check out and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Drive to Ishasha, located in the southern sector and famed for tree-climbing lions. These often climb the acacia trees.
Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. The afternoon will be be spent game viewing.
Return to camp before sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.
Drive time; (Approx 124.9Kms / 5 hrs)
08h30: After early breakfast at the lodge, depart for BWINDI impenetrable forest and national park.
It is estimated half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –400 and more live within Bwindi boundaries. Arrive and check-in at the lodge. Lunch. The afternoon will be at leisure.
This afternoon, visit the Batwa pygmies village.
The Batwa Pygmy tribe – has a story that’s actually tightly woven into gorilla trekking safaris.
The story of the Batwa people is one of woe and sacrifice, and their historical presence is one of great significance. They were the original inhabitants of East Africa’s Great Lakes, and the guardians of the equatorial forests before they were pushed to the outskirts of Bwindi forest when it was was gazetted in 1991.
Return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive time; (Approx 50.9Kms / 1hr 50mins)
After an early breakfast and briefing from the guides, set off for the mountains gorilla tracking inside the Bwindi forest. You will need to carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and observing the gorillas.
After tracking, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi region. (you will have checked out in the morning)
Arrive and check-in. Evening at leisure overlooking the lake. Dinner and overnight stay.
Drive time to Cyanika; (Approx 50.9Kms / 1hr 50mins)/ Drive time to Kigali; (Approx 03h00)
07h00: Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Set off for the Cyanika border. Customs and immigration procedures. You will be handed over to your driver guide from Rwanda.
09h00: Set off for Kigali. Arrive and have lunch at the Sole luna restaurant or similar.
This afternoon, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center and Inema arts gallery.
Later, transfer to Kigali international airport. Bid farewell to your driver-guide and proceed to check-in for your outbound flight.
